Best almond croissant in Brisbane (we actually tasted a few different ones side by side and theirs came out on top).

I tried the Reuben toastie, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion of meat was generous, and the crispy sourdough added the perfect touch. I really enjoyed it!

A nice, relaxed café for brunch. Friendly staff, a good variety of baked goods, and an open dining area that makes it feel welcoming.

A gem so close to the city, so lovely to just stop by have the most amazing pasteries, such good coffee. So impressed by Meryl her way of customer service and happiness in doing her job is just next level! The team are great, everything is clean. I suggest trying the breads they are just amazing. Our favourites are the multigrain loaf and the foccacia.

Absolutely divine—a little slice of French heaven in Brisbane. The service is warm and friendly, the coffee is smooth, and the pastry selection is incredible. We tried the cinnamon scroll on this visit and it was perfection: light, fluffy, and beautifully balanced with a coffee. Already planning my next visit to work through more of their range.

Fantastic French bakery/cafe. Good variety of pastries, breads, lunch selections. The custard croissant is Devine and addictive. Worth dropping in if you love good fresh pastries.

A Taste of French Romance on the Tongue🥐 Originally, I just stopped by to pick up a birthday cake 🎂 I’d ordered online but the great display of French pastries behind the glass counter—especially the stunning bread wall—tempted me into grabbing a sweet and a savory treat for a pre-cake tasting. The steady stream of customers hinted that this place was worth the try! What We Tried: 🍓 **Strawberry Tart** – Buttery, crisp crust filled with velvety custard and topped with plump, fresh strawberries. So good, I could easily devour a whole one myself. 🥐Ham & Cheese Croissant ⭐⭐⭐⭐– Not your average stuffed croissant! The ham and cheese are expertly rolled inside, and when warmed, the pastry turns golden and flaky, with melted cheese adding a rich, savory depth. The perfect breakfast indulgence—it absolutely blew me away! ✨ Danish Pastries– Looked irresistible, but I was too full this time. Next visit! Considering the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional flavors, the prices are very reasonable. A must-visit for French pastry lovers! Already planning my next trip for that Danish. The taste of the cake. One of the most experienced Lemon Meringue lover said this is the best one other than his mom made.

Needed a sweet treat on a lazy holiday morning. C'est Du Gateau did not disappoint. Too many options to choose from. The whole cabinet looked delicious. They also make hot and iced coffees. The brew is delicious. Considering the quality, the pricing is very reasonable. The staff are so friendly, happy and patient while you try and decide what to order. Highly recommend for any tourists or Brissie locals needing a bakery item.

The almond croissant was filled with rich and creamy almond paste; both croissant and pain au chocolat were crispy and relased a heavy butter scent after reheating in the air fryer. Incredibly large size and great value (approximately twice the normal size); the staffs were really nice and warm and helpful!

Such a charming little bakery. They offer a lovely selection of breads, from olive and onion loaves to the classic white loaf and fresh baguettes. The sweet pastries looked absolutely beautiful, and the portion sizes were perfect. A delightful spot overall.
